IRELAND:
Ireland is an independent, English speaking nation situated
on the western edge of Europe. The Republic of Ireland
is an increasingly popular destination for students
from all over the globe. Although Ireland has their
own distinctive celtic language and culture, English
is the predominant language spoken in Ireland today.
WEATHER:
Ireland enjoys a temperate climate influenced by the
relatively warm waters of the Gulf Stream in whose path
the island lies. The widest and wettest months are December,
January and February, which have mean temperatures of
between 4*c and 7*c. July and August are the warmest
months with mean temperatures of between 14*c and 16*c
rarely raising above 20*c. we get many rain showers
is the reason why Ireland landscape is so green.
Ireland’s long and honorable tradition in educational
excellence is recognized worldover. Dating back to the
middle ages, Ireland held the position of one of the
principle education providers to the western world.
Successive modern governments have continued to regard
education as a key priority and investments in this
area have been sustained for a long period. This has
resulted in one of the highest education participation
rates in the world today which inturn has had positive
implications for the strong economic growth and development
of our country.
PART-TIME WORK:
Non-European nationals who have permission to remain
in the state as students are en-titled to take up casual
employment ( defined as up to 20 hours part time work
per week or full time work during vacation periods)
for the duration of their permission to remain in the
country.
